The General Store 2021 Rewind: Up, Down, Left, Right and Back Around Again March 2021 In March, a Covid-19 vaccine became widely available, and some of us started getting vaxxed in the hopes that we could return to normal by the end of the year. Spoiler alert: It only kind of worked out that way. We shook off the last little bit of winter with hearty farm fresh meals like beef stew, made with locally raised grass-fed beef. And we were featured in an issue of Cary Magazine. We’re pretty used to people from all over visiting this little corner of rural paradise. As usual, we were full of high spirits and smiles going into the spring. And March is a good time to roll out some hearty Irish-inspired food, like some corned beef and cabbage, made with the freshest ingredients. Even with vaccines rolling out, we still had this little rubber frog hanging out on one of the hand sanitizer stations, reminding people to continue to wash their hands regularly. And then there was that time that Chris met someone who looked like he could be his brother, but he wasn’t. The two of them had never met before that day. Beautiful spring weather means plenty of time to hang out outside with your furry best friends. Maybe taking a break to make music with work friends… Or maybe just stopping to admire all the flowers blooming all around town.
