Summer keeps on keepin’ on, with amazing summer specials like the fried chicken liver sandwich, a customer favorite!
The babies that were born last year were up and walking, talking, and discovering things they could pull off the shelf in 2021. Lena in particular fell in love with the toddler sized shopping carts.
Two years ago, both Tapp and Nate were hired at the same time, and they celebrated their two year General Store anniversary in August. It’s been such a blessing having both of them here.
Can’t have summer without hot dogs, especially when they’re piled high like this!
Filling the store with beauty with these amazing summer bouquets from Dragonfly Farm.
And with the brief return of Saturdays in Saxapahaw this year, we also had to make sure there was plenty of cheesecake to go around.
Summertime is an incredibly busy time for the General Store, so it’s important to take a break from the hustle and bustle, and relax with a game of chess, like Katherine and Ben are doing here.

Over the summer, we had the dynamic mother/daughter duo of Debbie and Vicky start working at the General Store, busy little bees keeping the dishes clean and well-organized.
