With our new modern register system in place, we were finally able to have reusable, re-fillable gift cards. Instead of a paper gift certificate, you can use these, fill them back up and use them again and again.
After closing is a great time for card games. I’m not sure what they were playing, only that Jack was definitely winning.
Turkey and cranberry sauce? Say hello to the Harvest Moon, one of our most popular new seasonal sandwiches, introduced in November of this year.
One Saxapahaw local sent us this photo from a diner in Florida of a stranger wearing a Saxapahaw General Store t-shirt. When you love Saxapahaw, that love knows no geographic boundaries.
With all the babies born in 2020, sometimes our working moms need to have their hands free. That’s where Margaret comes in. Babies love Margaret!
In regular years, we have product tastings a couple times a month, but in 2020, it was more like 2 or three times for the whole year. And as fall took hold, we were happy to host Sweet’s Syrup, offering free samples of their small batch elderberry syrup.
Amber doing what she loves to do, which is bake bake bake! Here she is making some fresh croissants for breakfast.
And pies… Amber made sooooo many pies for the holidays, and they flew off the shelves!
Packing up some SGS sweatshirts to ship out as holiday gift giving season went into full swing!
